Sleepy Sunday

Meowmy might not get to help me on my bloggie much for a few daze. Her son, (our daddy) wuz in a car acksident on Saturday mornin.

He feels reel bad - but he got to come home frum the hozpital so meowmy is spendin lots of time tryin to make him comfurtible.

So, we don't know how much time we can spend on the puter. We will try to check owr friends blogs, when meowmy has time to help us, tho.

Tell yur beans to be eggstra careful in their kars they are veery dangurrus.

Welcome

Hi! My name is Mr. Zenith. Our meowmy calls me "Mister Mister" or "Zeeeeeeenith" when she's calling me. She has a nickname that has sort of turned into our "Pride (or family) name". We're the "FANCIDOTS" gang. I live in a house with a bunch of other cats. There's Tiger - he's OLD... a silver tip tabby DSH rescue. He was rescued by some friends of our meowmy, but they couldn't keep him, because the he started biting, and since she was sick, her husband said he would have to go to the pound. Our meowmy took pity on him, and said she would keep him for the remainder of his life. He is an escape artist, and one day he rand out the door, straight into the road and got hit by a car, then he had to have his tail amputated -- OUCH ! Then Moonlight, she is the kitty who lives on the porch. She doesn't like ANYBODY. She does let us come out and visit, but she doesn't like to be inside the house. (only in really COLD weather, meowmy fixes her a room to herself, so she won't start fights.) Meowmy rescued her, when her other owners moved away, and didn't take her. Some mean boys in the neighborhood shot her with bb's, so meowmy took her to the vet and when she got home after her surgery, was told she had to live somewhere SAFE. Then Hatter, he is BIG and mostly white with a gray hat, tail and pawpads. Meowmy rescued him, when the lady whose garage he was born in decided to call the pound to get those "pesky kittens" before they trip someone. Then there is Casper -- my sweet soft buddy -- who is solid white with big blue eyes and a pink nose and pink pawpads. He got adopted from a shelter where meowmy was doing volunteer work. He was very shy, and the adopter people said he was "un-adoptable" because he was so feral. He's not so shy, anymore -- but he has a terrible disease called HCM and has to take medicine every day. Then meowmy got Lightnin and Victoria. They were meowmy's first BENGAL cats. They are sisters, and they both take turns letting me nap with them, but they're not fooling me... they just like to get cozy with me, cause I'm WARM! After that came Dagger and Emma. They are a brother and sister pair. Dagger was a "show" cat, but after he got his championship status, meowmy decided to let him retire and be a pampered pet. Dagger, Emma and I are the most playful, and we have wonderful racing games. Sometimes Lightnin and Victoria join in - but they can't jump as high as Dagger and I can jump. (And they don't like to get wet, either!) Then meowmy got ME (Mr. Zenith). She flew all the way from Alabama to Portland, Oregon to get me! We had a really good time in the airports, because she would allow me out of my carrier on my harness and leash, and caused quite a stir! EVERYONE thought I was BEEE-U-TI-FULLL. Our meowmy loves all of her cats, but down deep, I think she loves ME the best. I love to wake her up in the morning giving her kisses. I'm VERY demanding about being petted, whenever I want to be petted. I like to sit on top of doors, and jump down onto her shoulders as she walks by. I LOVE to play and meowmy makes all kinds of games for me and the rest of her "furry" family members. All in all -- we got it pretty good :)
