We're FURRY EGGZITED !!!

Today when meowmy checked her e-mails, she discovered my site had won an award from the Pet Supplies Place.
We are furry happie to get this awesome award.
Tho - I must admit, I'd rather mom be in the living room, playing with me with my DaBird toy, or my favorit fuzzie ball. I LOVE to play fetch, now.
My sweet buddie Casper passed away just before Christmas, then Hatter got very sick in March. Meowmy had to give him LOTS and LOTS of pills, and now he has to eat speshul foods.

I still love meowmy furry much. She works 9 hours a day - and is gone almost 11 hours - she sez the drive is long, to work.

But, when she gets home, she plays with us, and then feeds us (and of course duz poopie scoopie duteez) After she eats dinner, she plays with us sum more!

I miss my blogging friends, but I sure do like all the extra time meowmy has to play wif us.

I hope this post finds all my furrie friends well and happy.

Meowmy has deecided to KEEP that rascaly UFFER F1 Bengal Cat, Louie. She sez he only wood effur trust HER, since he still hides and peeks at owr daddy, when he goz in to feed the fosters.

Meowmy likes to PLAY wif us.

We take TURNS.

First we get fed, then the foster kitties get fed.

THEN, we get to play and play and play!

We haf soo much fun! Always good toys wif plenty of sparkley things, and feathers.

When we're all tired out, meowmy goes up to play wif Louie and his "girls" Regale and Vashtie.

Well, time to go get bizzy... Lots of sparkley toys to chase, and feathers to KILL.

Hi to all my bloggin' furrends!

Meowmy, and all us Fancidots cats haf been FURRY bizzy this summer.

She works extra hours, and when she getz hom -- all we want is for her to PLAY wif US!

I'm having so much fun, she has taught me a new "trick" -- She lets me take treats from her lips, and I'm the ONLY one she trusts to not bite her lips (hee hee)

Louie is doing SO much better. He is still growly and I'm a little skeered of him - but meowmy takes pikturs of him, and shows me he's not TOO skeery anymores.

Vashtie has gotten used to meowmy and owr daddy - and doesn't hide in her cage, annymor... Meowmy sez when she finds Vashtie a "purrfekt" home, she will be getting a new home of her furry own.

I'm inkluding a kupple uf FUNNY pikturs of Louie - so you can see he's bein less skeery. He's jus SILLY meowmy sez....

I hope effurbody had had az much fun as we haf, this summer.

Hi to all my Blogging friends! I'm so sorry that I have not kept in touch, but me and the Fancidots Gang -- and our "foster babies" have been keeping meowmy Furry BIZZY !!! And when meowmy is bizzy -- the home puter neffur gets turned on.

Louie is still in the "foster room" with Regale and Vashtie. He still lufs for meowmy to come play with him, and even lets her pet him, sometimes.. but when he comes out of the foster room, he chases effurbody and is MEAN to ME!!!

Tiger is still being a GRUMPY OLE MAN
Hatter is still scared of Effurbody
Casper is still chubby and always adored by Lightnin and Victoria - His heart condition is no better, but no worse, and he still loves laps, treats and snuggles.
Dagger is az clumzy as effur
Emma sat in Daddy's ash tray, on a lit cigarette, a couple of weeks ago --and got all frizzy on one side... it even curled her whiskers!

And of course -- I'm WONDERFUL -- and still VERY spoiled by meowmy.
(It is a big secret, here around the house -- but I'm Furry sure I'm her FAVORTIE.

I hope effurbody had a good Easter and got baskets full of toys, like we did -- and LOTS of CATNIP!!

Special Thanks to Skeezix, who remembered us and sent us a furry cute Easter Card.

I'm glad the weather is getting warmer -- I can't WAIT for meowmy to set up my swimmy pool.

Owr meowmy is so happy she is almost dancin'
She got an e-mail from Snowdrop's adoptive meowmy
And she wants her BACK !!
Snowdrop's adoptive mommy had become furry ill, and returned Snowdrop to us months ago; becaus she could no longer take care of Snowdrop.
For a while she kept in touch wif owr meomy - but then the calls and e-mails had stopped.

Meowmy had been furry patient - but after such a long time, and no way to reach Snowdrop's mommy - the painful decishun to make Snowdrop available for adoption to a noo family had to be made.

THEN - TODAY - the email came - And sometime in the next 3 weeks, when she gets settled in her noo home - she wants to come get Snowdrop.

We are ALL furry happy that Snowdrop gets to go back to the lady she lufs so much!
(Tho - we fink mebby Louie mite miss her a wittle.)

Owr meowmy finally got a noo puter, so maybe when she finishes reedin all the e-mails she got whil her old one wuz tryin to git fixd, she will let me write sum noo posts on my blog, too!

I did convince her to let me write a qwik note to let my pals know I'm BACK !!

We've still got all owr reskoos --

Vashtie is still too skeerd to meet new beans, but she moved to Louie and Snowdrop's room, so mewomy can pet her and play with her more.

Snowdrop is still waitin for her adoptive meowmy to git well, so she can go bak to her,

and we jus found owt Regale has a heart murmur, so she may still be with us a while too...

Meowmy moved her cage to the living room, and we're all still a little confused about that CAGE thing... we like Regale OK - but meowmy only lets her owt of the cage so she can watch and make sure we don't hurt her playin - sinc she duzzent haf any clawz to let us know when we git too ruff...

Little Louie will be stayin wif us -- Fureffur!

Little Louie is makin progress with coming owt of his room without being quite so growly/hissy. Tiger and Emma aren't furry afraid of him -- but he makes my eyz git BIG and my tail git fluffy, still. He iz little - and round - but furry scary sumtimz.

Owr meowmy borrowed a puter for a day or two, so we kood see what all MY friends have been up to this summer.
Yu are all haffin SO MUCH fun !!
I'm reely missin my closest frinds, Skeezix, Daisy, Dragonheart, Lux -- my werld seems so impty wiffout getting to see what yur up to effury day.
And there are so minny offur cat bloggin frinds whooz blogs always gave me and meowmy laffs and hartwarmin stories abowt yur lifes...

Meowmy sez when she finishes payin for gettin her car fixed, she will work on scrapin up the munny to git us a nuther puter.
Owr daddy sez if she didn't spend so much munny on reskoo kitties, she kood afford to go buy a new puter, but meowmy sez as much as she loves to blog wif me - the kitty's lifes ar mor important than haffin a puter.

Effuryone has been asking about Vashtie

and all owr uther foster kitties.

So... I thot I'd share sum noo pikturs of them

This is Vashtie in her tent, in the cage where she stays whil meowmy is at werk
On pretty days, meowmy takes her cage owtside so she can enjoy the sunshine.
Something startled Vashtie when meowmy was petting her lass week - and she scratched meowmy on her hans and arms - but meowmy didn't get mad. It took her all nite to catch Vashtie in the basement, so meowmy got her a pretty pink harness, so she kood handle her easier, wifout scaring her so much. She unnerstands that Vashtie needs a lot of luf and unnerstanding, to get over having been abused.
Regale is gaining wate and her fur is lookin better
She likes her sleepy kube and all the good fud meowmy gives her
She duzzent like owtside as much as Vashtie, (we fink maybe she wuz in an owtside place where she got fleas and wuz so hungry) So meowmy jus leaves the garage door open, so she can get sunshine and fresh air, while Vashtie suns herself.

Snowdrop gave up her big "safe" cage, so Vashtie could have the biggest one

She and Louie have been makin friends better, since she is out wif him, all the time. Louie LUFS to play, and meowmy uses shorter toys, so he will get closer to her in playtime.

Meowmy PETS and PLAYS with Vashtie, Regale, Louie and Snowdrop EFFURY NITE.

I getz a little jelus - sumtimes -- but meowmy makes sur she gives me and all the Fancidots gang lots of luvvies, treets and playtime before she goes sleepy-bye.

And we get to sleep wif her - so then I'm not so jelus.

It will be nice when Snowdrop gets to go home with her mom, when she gits well.

It will be nice when Louie makes friends with more of us, so he can come out and play wif effurbody.

It will be nice when Vashtie and Regale are ready to go to new homes - but meowmy will have to screen their noo parents furry carefully - so they won't haf to be skeered all over again.

Meowmy is furry tired at nite after all her bean chores, and I miss getting to BLOG wif all my cat bloggin friends - but we all kno not effurbody has meowmys and daddies as good as me and all owr cat bloggin friends, so we are tryin to be furry patient.

Fanks to effuryone who has said such nice things about my meowmy...

I luf her furry much - and will be glad when she has more time to spend wif me, again.

It is gettin furry KROWDID heer!

Meowmy got a call Saturday nite frum a nice lady who works in a "kill shelter" The lady asted my meowmy if she could pull a pretty little Bengal kitty from the shelter because she was afraid the kitty would get sick, and be euthanized.
Of KORSE meowmy agreed to kom get the kitty on Monday (that's today)

Her name is Regale and she is getting a hoo-ha-ectomy tomorrow at owr vet place. Meowmy sez she is reel skinny and has fleas and dirty ears but the vet will fix all that, too.

She is declawed, and meowmy sez she made biskits in the carrier all the way from the shelter to the vet's office. Meowmy sez she is sweet, and we will be able to find her a good hom.

After meowmy made the vet pointmunt for Regale, two hours later, the vet called her bak and sed somebean had a cat TAPED in a cardboard box, and brot it to them and sed if Bengal Reskoo woodnt take her, to "Put her down" They asted meowmy if she could find room for ONE more, till a noo hom kood be fount. So insted of bringin Regale hom tonit, meowmy brot this UFFER cat hom.

Her name is Vashtie. She is a SILVUR MARBLE Bengal. I've only seen pikturs, but meowmy sez she is furry pretty in person, and kant beleev sombean wood jus throw her away! She is in owr basement in a kage but she is beein furry quiet. Meowmy sez she is still SKEERD from bein taped in that box! POOR Vashtie!

I sumtimz git tird of all the reskoos comin in and owt of owr howse.

But I am furry glad owr meowmy Lufs US, an wood NEFFUR throw us away! So I guess it is OK fur the kitties to stay here a littel whil, till meowmy kan find nice beans to dopt them.

1. I LUF my meowmy furry much! She kame a LONG way to get me, and we rode in 3 planes to come "home" to liv wif my uther cat family members. She SEZ she duzzent haf a "FAVURIT" but I know down deep -- I"M her favurit. I make biskits on her nek and suk on her chin when she's tryin to sleep, but she duzzent efen get mad.

2. I HATE getting my klaws trimmed - I SCREAM lik meowmy is KILLIN me, even tho it duzzent bleed. (But I fink it feels like it MIGHT)

3. I LUF raw chiccen an beef - but I fink FISH stinks! Meowmy's good friend fownd us sum treets called Liv-a-Littles - and I reely LUF them, I've almost figgerd owt how to open the jar. I LUF them THAT MUCH !!!

4. I LUF to play with all my furry family members. Tiger is my favurit - but he growls and yells at me, sometimes he bites at my hed! But he duzzent hurt me (he jus likes to ACT tough) Dagger and Emma are FUN to have Bengal races wif. Casper is a good pillow- caus he's reel soft. Hatter is a scardy cat- so I defend him and CHIRR at Baily when she is mean to him.
Victoria and Lightnin like to beet me to the deer mousie - so we haf contests to see who kan jump the highest. It's fun bein in a BIG furry family.

5. I LUF to blog, an all my bloggin friends - I've found each one is different and speshul in their own way, and it's fun to see pikturs and reed storeez abowt my friends. I jus wish meowmy had mor time to type for me. (That opposable thing IS a hindering faktur.) I keep tellin her all these foster cats cramp my styl, and cut into my play, luvvies and bloggin time -- but she sez if she didn't reskoo them, some of them mite be put to sleep. I sleep effurry day. What's the big deel?

6. I DO NOT MEOW -- I make very exotik callin noises. Meowmy sez I sound like a baby wif larengytis (whateffur that is) I kan make sum furry SCARY noises wif my voice. Sumtimes I get in trubble, for scaring the uffers, speshuly when Bailey growls at Hatter -- I make sounds SHE kan't make to bak her down. Meowmy alwaz stops what she is doin to make sure I'm not gettin too mad. (Efen tho I'm the littlest cat heer-- except for Louie, who is still in the isolation room wif Snowdrop.)

7. I LUF playin in water so much that meowmy rarely gets to take a shower, alone... and I ALWAYS get in the bath-tub before meowmy - unless there's bubbles -- the bubbles make me SNEEZE (AH-choo) I haf my own towel beside meowmy's -- but I like it best when she dries off first, then rubs her MEOWMY smell on me, wif her damp towel.

She got up to check on us, and found a door open,

(This is Zenith's meowmy)

I'm writing a special note here on Zenith's page, to say I want to plan some kind of surprize party for Zenith on February 9th, but I'm not as computer savvy as some of the other parents out there, and would like some help planning his party.

I know there's a valentine party, that night, and so many of his furfriends may be too busy to come to a different party. (Plus, Dagger, Victoria and Lightnin are still hoping to be invited to the valentine party.)

Catching up, SCARS and moovies !

Me and meowmy got on the puter tonite, after taking some time off, so all the pride could have "special" time with meomy ever day when she got home from work. This weekend was extra speshul because she got the wand toyz out of the speshul drawer they hide in - and played with us till we were all tired.

We saw that Daisy the Curly Cat and Skeezix both have NEW scars.
Our meowmy had surgery on Monday, but hers was INSIDE her noze! OWIE !!
She doesn't have any stitches that show, but she shur sounds funny, tonite.

The weather is cold this week, so Moonlight is in the basement. Moonlight doesn't like being in the basement but she likes it better than having to be in the house with all the rest of us. Meowmy has had to give her special time so she wouldn't feel so scared there.

Casper and Dagger and I have been snuggling a lot. We wish meowmy would turn the heat up some more. We CROWD her when she goes to bed at nite.

Emma and Bailey have been staying up in the boy/man's room but they chase me out, when I go try to get in Bailey's cozy. I like meowmy's pillow better, anyway.

Meowmy hasn't taken any new pitchurs, so I just wanted to say HI and tell everyfurry we try to go out and catch up, when we can. We really enjoy reading all yur blogs and speshully love to watch yur moovies!

Miss Daisy, if yu read this, we liked all yur moovies, specially the one with the pink sweater!

Sunday - Snowdrop coming for a visit

This is SNOWDROP

She was the first BENGAL foster kitty who stayed with us Now, a year later, her new adoptive meowmy is very ill, and contacted our meowmy to see if Snowdrop could stay with us while she gets some medical treatments in a place Snowdrop can't stay. Of course, Meowmy said yes, so she will be coming back to visit for a while.

Snowdrop is very old, and has some medical issues, like asthma and bad teeth. But meowmy couldn't bear to have Snowdrop have to go stay in a KENNEL or somewhere she would be scared and lonely. And, it's OBVIOUS her new meowmy doesn't want to give her up, so Snowdrop will not be put on the list for adoption, until it is certain that her current meowmy who loves her very much, can't keep her, anymore. Please welcome her and let her know that even though our house is very full we would never allow one of the kitties we have fostered to end up in a bad or scary place, EVER again!

The New Year Has BEGUN

Meowmy spent SO much time on the puter with me on New Year's Eve, that she promised all my furry family members we would stay off the computer, and play with them on New Year's Day.
So, we did.
Casper, Dagger, Emma, Hatter, Lightnin, Moonlight, Tiger and Victoria send their THANKS for you allowing Me (Mr. Zenith) and our meowmy to take some "time off" to give them the love, affection and PLAY time they deserve.
First she got out of bed, when I woke her up, sucking on her lips (but I DID wait until almost 7 am) so I haven't broken that resolution, YET. Then she gave me raw chicken drummies (my favorite) Lightnin and Victoria each got one too - cause they are the only other kitties in the house who like to gnaw on raw chicken drummies.
Then she cleaned all our litter boxes (a daily chore -- hee hee)
She gave everyone else some canned food and made sure the crunchie food bowls were full.
Then she made herself a poached egg (YUK) and buttered toast. Casper got in her lap and begged for some of the buttery stuff, and even though he's not supposed to get much of that, she broke a piece off that had lots of butter, and gave it to him. (as a special new year treat)
I stuck my nose in her hot chocolate, but decided it was too hot. So I walked away, snorting.
After she cleaned up the dishes from feeding time, she went to our special TOY drawer and got out DABIRD. We played and played - always taking turns - except I got a little too excited and jumped in front of Casper when it was his turn. I got SCOLDED.. and reminded that we TAKE TURNS here. So, I sat back and allowed Casper his turn, and waited till meowmy told me "NOW Zenith" and I got my turn, again.
Dagger and I can jump the highest...though sometimes we scare meowmy when we over-shoot the target and bump into furniture.
Then she got out the sparkle sticks -- TWO of them, so we didn't have to wait so long for our turns each time. I LOVE SPARKLE STICKS !!! I got a little over-enthused again and tried to catch it with my mouth, instead of batting it with my foot, and AACKKKKK gagged myself! I sat and watched the others for a while. AACKK AACCKK -- then I was ready to play nice, again.
Then meowmy put a movie on the TV box, and covered her legs with a nice fuzzy blankie. Dagger, Casper, Lightnin and me all snuggled around meowmy's legs on the blankie and took a nap while she watched the movie.
Then she got up and boiled some boneless chicken for everyone and gave me another drummie. YUM YUM.. The others all like diced boiled chicken, but I still prefer raw. But, when it was done, and the others were all getting bites, I came up and told her I wanted a bite of the boiled stuff, so she gave me a little of it, but gave most of it to the ones who won't eat the raw.
We all got FULL again, and meowmy came and laid down on the big bed with us, and EVERYONE came up and all sunggled around her for a nap.
For dinner, she cooked us some shrimpies. The others LIKE to eat shrimpies, but I only KILL them, over and over till I'm tired of playing with them, then let Tiger or Hatter eat my piece, after I'm through playing with it.
All in all, we had a great day with meowmy home all day NOT at the puter.

I'm pouting a little, today, because Meowmy has to go back to work, tomorrow, and won't have nearly as much time to play with us, and help me on my blog.
I've been so excited to make so many new friends, here.

I'm hoping meowmy will take some time to play with us with the toys, again this afternoon. That's my FAVORITE.
I hope everycat is having as much fun as I'm having in this new year.

We decided (well, I helped) that since several FOS kitties were sponsoring kitties at Best Friends (http://bestfriends.org/), we would too! So I talked meowmy into pulling out the ole battered wallet, and sponsoring two kittes from the Fancidots Gang :)

This is Buddy -- He reminds us of OUR buddy - Casper

Buddy is a big cuddly polar bear! You would never guess, seeing him now, that he used to be a big-time stuntman in Los Angeles. But it's true - at least we think it is. Unfortunately, his last stunt didn't go so well. When he was found in Hollywood, he had a broken hip, a broken jaw, a broken tail, and a detached retina. Ouch! As a result, he now has trouble making it to the litter box. But you've never seen a guy so happy in retirement. Buddy is so easy-going, he sits in the tub and purrs during his twice-weekly baths.

This is Frankie - He's a PAPER SHREDDER - like ME!

Frankie loves paperwork! What? Paperwork? Who loves that? Well -- Give some to this cat, and he can have fun for hours shredding it up! And actually, you don't even have to give it to him -- he'll find it. Unfortunately, Frankie lived with a woman whose boyfriend had a home office! We probably don't even have to tell you where this is going... One day the boyfriend came home to find his office decorated with small snowdrifts of shredded paper! He was so angry. He told Frankie's person that Frankie had to go. Instead, she decided that Frankie wouldn't be the only one going -- she moved out! Even though she had only found Frankie as a stray a few months earlier, she felt she had to do all that she could to make sure he was safe. Unfortunately, all she could afford was a small studio apartment. Frankie was used to being outside, and he didn't like being all cooped up in that small space. His person was working late every day, and didn't have much time to give to Frankie. Then Frankie got sick. He had a urinary problem that was pretty serious -- before she knew it his person had paid a couple thousand dollars in vet bills! She knew she and Frankie needed help. So she turned to Best Friends.Frankie has been living happily at the sanctuary for three years now. If you're wondering which cat he is, look for the most enormous orange cat you've ever seen! He's monumental! But he's no couch potato -- he's an active, playful cat. And he loves to be pet. Of course, no one is sure if he likes to be picked up, because no one can lift him!

Mew Years Resolutions

I guess it's time for me to make some resolutions for the Mew Year.

1. I will not suck on meowmy's nose or lips before 5 am.

(If she stays in bed past then, there's no promises)

2. I will try to be nicer to the boy/man who lives upstairs.

He obviously loves me, but PEE-U-WEE his fingers smell

like mean ole "Bailey" cat who lives in his room

and only comes out to eat or be mean to Hatter.

3. I will try to not stick my face in EVERY food bowl,

as meowmy fills them at feeding time.

Or stand between meowmy and the bowls she's trying to fill.

Or knock the cans of food or bowls into the floor when she is in a hurry.

4. I will try to not extend my claws when I jump from the top of doors

onto meowmy's head, shoulders or back.

5. I will try to keep from getting the whole house wet,

or at least meowmy's BED ---

when I've been playing in the tub.

6. I will TRY to not cry and scream and wiggle,

as if I'm being KILLED, when meowmy trims my claws.

7. I will SOMETIMES leave a glass that has ice in it upright,

at least until meowmy drinks most of the liquid inside.

8. I will try to resist the urge to steal the straws out of the man/boy's soft drinks.

9. I will try to resist the urge to shred

every roll of TP in meowmy's bathroom.

10. I promise to continue to LOVE my mewomy EVERY DAY!

I was just so darn cute, our meowmy fell "IN LOVE" with me and made arrangements with the nice lady who took care of me, from birth. Then she flew to Portland, and I got to get out of my carrier in the airport. Everyone thought I was "ADORABLE!
All the hustle and bustle of the airport gates didn't prevent me from taking a nap on meowmy's chest. They "SAY" that Early Generation Bengals are hard to handle.

Do I look like I'm very hard to handle, here?

I LOVE my buddy Casper. He's not a Bengal, but he's soft and gentle and we take turns in meowmy's lap. It's been really nice having Meowmy home with us over the holidays.

I'm hoping after we finish on the 'puter -- that she will get out DaBird, and have a game with us!
